A brand was named by its founders but taken forward by its customers who have heart touching stories associated with brand PAYAL WALA.

Our Story

The journey of our founder Rajiv Kanda starts from a successful and well settled Corporate HR Head of a multinational company to a creative and passionate Jewellry designer. He worked as HR professional for 22 years and six different corporates, but there was always a wish to start his own creative jewellery brand as he originally belonged to a family of jewellery artisans and always had fascination towards jewellery designing.

In year 2012, Rajiv decided to start jewellery business and this was the time when his wife Nisha Kanda took the lead and started handling the operations of a jewellery store at a very small place inside the market lane in Panchkula. The place was small but not the dreams. Here the brand PAYAL WALA was born. The customer base started building up and Nisha being from a family of retail business was master in sales. By year 2016, the business grew to a level that allowed Rajiv to quit his job and join brand PAYALWALA as its CEO.

The time was now set to expand and a small silver store was now expanded to two bigger markets in Panchkula city with two full capacity Silver Jewellery stores by year 2018. Their two sons, Vipul and Praful also completed their studies in business management and joined the family business. Both of them being young blood were full of ideas and became a think tank to take the business online. In year 2020, the website was launched.

Today PAYAL WALA is a team of 14 dedicated individuals that work in full sync with each other and aspire to take this brand to a new level on the world stage. PAYAL WALA Stores are expanding and in that effort, another store has opened up in LUDHIANA.
